cooler weather seems to be nonexistent in texas, but it looks like we are finally getting relief from the summer heat. this is my favorite time of the year because it means i can wear warm sweaters, knee high boots and cozy up in bed in a big warm blanket. there is something about colder weather that makes me ironically feel warm inside.
i've been stuck in my apartment all day working my little fingers off and finally went outside for a little break a couple of hours ago...the weather is so nice it makes me want to forget about work for the rest of the fall season and go play!
pregnancy update: i'm creeping on 5 months and my tummy is really starting to grow. i'm at 33 1/2 inches and can feel the "little bump" when i lie on my stomach. no signs of fluttering or baby movement yet....mario sang the baby some songs last night in hopes of feeling a little kick. five more days and we find out baby's gender...i'm so anxious!
aside from baby stuff, all is well on the homefront. work is extremely busy because conference is 10 days away and everyone is scrambling to get everything done. graduate classes are keeping me on my toes and maintaining a happy, healthy relationship with mario has been a little hard at times, but we've been doing well. and of course, we can't forget about our four-legged little babies...i think baybee is becoming more aware that something is in my tummy...he's just not sure what it is yet. life as i know it from now on will be quite interesting....
