a brief catch up blog.......i've been out of town for two weeks and this was my first week back. back tracking to halloween...cuong, mario and i dressed up as super mario bros characters. with the help of my fabulous friend, amy, i was able to get a custom made dress for the princess peach costume. mario and cuong made their hats and we shopped for all the other little pieces. the costumes turned out perfect and we sported out our trio at paul and brandon's halloween party. i spent the week of halloween in orlando on a business trip, came home for a few days and spent the next week in vegas at an IT conference. this was catch up week at work and school...i have lots of work, a ton of reading and on top of all this, we're starting to slowly move our things out of the apartment. we rented a storage unit and will spend the next month or two squeezing ourselves into my mom's apartment and filling up the storage unit with knick knacks we don't necessarily need yet. cuong is moving out in a couple of months into his own place and isabelle will be here before we know it. i can't believe next week is thanksgiving, then the holiday shopping rush and christmas will be here soon. i can't wait to cook thanksgiving dinner...mmm...turkey. i really don't need all the extra weight, but it's freakin thanksgiving. who could miss out on great food?
as far as the pregnancy goes, some girls from work hosted a mommy shower for me and another pregnant co-worker. we got some really cute and necessary items to get us through our pregnancy days. i had my 23rd week check up today and everything is good so far. i've gained 17 lbs already and am still in denial about a lot of pregnancy related things, but i'm feeling pretty good. those of you who see me everyday know what i'm talking about. =)
