playing catch up

i can't believe we only have 20 days left until christmas! it seems like i blinked and halloween and thanksgiving flew by. for the sake of getting too far behind, this will solely be a catch up picture post (it seems like this is becoming a recurring pattern).

backing up a little more than a month ago--isabelle's school hosted a festive halloween carnival for all the school goers. this year, isabelle was a little princess dressed in pretty pink and i was a witch (mario was supposed to be a frog prince but ended up not making it to the carnival). our family halloween theme this year was i would be the wicked witch who turned mario into a frog and isabelle would be the princess who kissed the frog and turned him into a prince. needless to say, isabelle had a great time at the carnival. unfortunately, these pictures are a little blurry, but you can still all the joy in her face as she played halloween games to fill her candy bucket with treats and prizes.
