home sweet home

geez...it's been a month since my last post! time really flies, especially with being a new mom! we're already half way through 2008...isabelle is getting big and mario and i are finally really settling into a home. over the past 18 months, we've moved 4 times, got pregnant, started school, had a baby, taken breaks, started a new job, being new parents...basically every corner of our lives have been turned upside down, inside out and jiggled all around. we are currently renting my mom's house, but i think we'll be here for a really long time. i don't want to pack another box and move another piece of furniture into a different home for a really long time. in light of that, we spent our weekend buying things for our master suite, the baby's nursery and my office. needless to say, mario will be quite busy this summer installing new tile and carpet, building walls, texturing walls, painting walls, sanding cabinets, painting cabinets, hanging pictures, planting flowers, etc...not that being a dad and working fulltime isn't enough... =) pictures of our new nest will be posted as projects are completed...finally...a place to call home!
