i'm sure many of you who are parents have gone through this at some point in your child's life--food allergies. i was so excited when isabelle turned 4 months because it meant she could start eating solids. unfortunately, it turns out isabelle is allergic to everything! it took us months to figure out why she was breaking out in hives every 4-5 days and it was a trip to see an allergist that finally gave us a clue as to why our poor baby was so prone to allergic reactions. it has only been 3 weeks since we were told she couldn't eat certain foods, but it seems like the list is growing. i am now making her food so i can monitor what she's actually eating. we thought it would be better to eliminate all preservatives from her diet and go with organic fruits and vegetables. it is a bit expensive, but in the long run, it will be better for her anyway. she's such a sensitive little flower...just like mommy.
on a totally different note...halloween is exactly 29 days away! i can't wait!!! it's one of my favorite holidays (mostly because it involves candy) and we already bought isabelle a costume. we tried the costume on her today and she looks soooo cute in it!!! what will she be for her first halloween??? i guess you'll have to wait and see!
