our brave little girl

as i mentioned about a month ago, isabelle started walking on her own and within a couple weeks, she became an expert walker. she is so good at it now that it is almost like she keeps a running pace and we have to be very quick to keep up with her. this new mobility skill has really encouraged her to be busier than ever and it is really keeping us on our toes. when she ventured into this new skill, she was a little hesitant to walk on unfamiliar grounds, being grass, the sidewalk and driveway. one breezy afternoon, about two weeks ago, i was able to capture some pictures of her outside on our front lawn. she spent a good amount of time sitting in the grass because she refused to get up and walk on her own, but with time and some encouragement, she finally got up and walked towards the front door.
