what a sickly baby...

everyone always comments on how much isabelle looks like her daddy and there are others that say she looks like the perfect mixture of both of us. but the one thing she definately acquired from mommy is sensitive skin. it's pretty common for isabelle to break out in a rash and our trip to orlando proved to be no exception. she acquired this awful rash that started in the diaper area, spread all over her body, and eventually made its way to her face. yesterday, she came home from school very cranky and fussy, and this called for a visit to the pediatrician. good thing we went because this rash we dismissed as an allergy actually turned out to be a combination of a few things--a yeast infection in the diaper area, scarlet fever (aka strep throat with a rash on the torso), and some unknown allergic reaction on her face. we're going to see an allergist thursday afternoon to get the face rash checked out--we already had this appointment scheduled prior to our orlando trip, but our pediatrician is a little concerned about the face reaction...check out the pictures i took of her after we arrived home from the doctor's office...poor poor baby...
