...of teeth that is! isabelle's first molar started coming in at the end of may and she now has three of them. the top left was the first molar that came in and now she has two bottom ones that are breaking skin. i would have never known this had i not taken a quick glimpse at her gums when she had her mouth wide open the other day. i've tried feeling around her mouth before, but she refuses to let me do that.
the other day, i was looking at a baby milestone chart because i was interested in seeing how isabelle is progressing compared to the average toddler. this chart seems to be pretty accurate because she's doing everything up to (but not including) the 16 month advanced skills, a couple of the 17 month advanced skills (dancing and kicking a ball), and one of the 18 month advanced skills (throwing the ball overhand). i honestly think this is one of the best stages of raising a child--watching them flourish and grow from these little helpless beings to sponges that soak in just about everything.
